Position Production Executive
Reports To Assistant Production Manager
Direct Reports Process Supervisor, Packing Operators, Process Operators
Job Summary • Responsible for the supervision and development of the operations process within the plant policies and performance standards established.
• The production function includes receiving and storage of raw materials & packaging items, environment health & safety, quality control, sanitation & plant hygiene, maintenance, security and other related functions.
Main Responsibilities
• Assists in the development of production schedules with the Production Manager so that maximum productivity (online & yield) is achieved, quality standards (shippable) are met, and customer delivery times/ dates are achieved.
• Responsible for ensuring the Quality Control program been exercised to produce quality shippable products according to sales order in order to fulfill customer satisfaction.
• Assist Production Manager in handling customer complaints.
• Assists in other departments activities (such as maintenance, safety) to reduce downtime thus maximizing productivity.
• Maintain the housekeeping and sanitation of the plant to comply with established standards. Responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety policy and other standard established such as HACCP, GMP, and etc.
• Responsible for shift schedule to include work station assignments, rotations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employee, and shift rotations.
• Responsible for the training of all new employees in proper methods and procedures to perform job. Continues to develop and lead employees with on-going training.

• Ensure all responsibilities and activities associated with this role meet the
required health, safety and environmental laws regulations, obligations and
duty of care.
• Work in conjunction with Outspan Management to ensure this area is well
managed with respect to:
i. Risk management, incident management, reporting and injury
management.
ii. Culture of safe behavior in all aspects of this position and workplace.
iii. Health and safety of employees, and any other persons, is not affected

I. Maintaining a hygienic processing environment to deliver safe and consistent products to our customer.
II. Demonstrating a full commitment in quality and food safety throughout the production chain.
III. Continual improve the work processes to eliminate / control / reduce any potential hazards to the products.

Qualifications and Skills Required
• Minimum 2 years or supervisory/ managerial experience in manufacturing environment (food production manufacturing will be an advantage).
• Diploma/ Degree (Process engineering, mechanical or other engineering related, Food Tech/ Food Science will be an advantage).
• Computer literate (Microsoft application such as words, excel, power point & etc.).
• Able to read and write Malay, English (3rd language will be an advantage).
• Strong leadership skills, organizational and planning abilities, problem solving skills are essential.

Authority • Approve Packing Operators / Process Operators leave application, sick leave and other leaves in the absence of production managers. .
• Approve Process Supervisor / Packing Operators / Process Operators to leave company premises in the absence of production managers.
